Heritage Mantels is proud to be an American company preserving America's pioneer and farming heritage. We specialize in creating beautiful rustic fireplace mantels, surrounds and corbels with reclaimed beams from centuries old early American family farmsteads. Most mantels are from barns built between 1860 and 1910. These are truly a piece of our American Heritage! |

About the Craftsman
Having been raised in the Midwest, I've developed a passion to preserve rural American culture and reclaim the timbers that are part of its history. It's an honor for me to give new life to the beams and boards that supported the structures, and the families, of first generation farmers from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa dating back to as early as the mid-1800's.
It's amazing to think of the all the work that went into cutting, shaping and installing these beams over a century ago - and all the work that went on inside of these beautiful buildings. Each beam and barn board is unique and has it's own story to tell. They deserve to be reclaimed, preserved and given a new lease on life.
I hope you enjoy displaying a piece of our American Heritage in your own home as much as I do preserving it.
